A Tale of the Foxglove
Foxglove

Foxglove

Foxglove Digitalis purpurea

The foxgloves grow here in large numbers in the forest but I have not been able to get them to grow successfully in our immediate garden. They do, however, line the path up to our meadow on a sunny field boundary - a pile of stones removed from the meadow long ago. They face the sun and you can see a whole range of colours from deep pink to white flower heads.
